UltraTech Cement Limited — Important, 05-02-2025: Updates

UltraTech Cement has commissioned an additional 0.6 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) grinding capacity at its Sonar Bangla unit in West Bengal. This expansion aims to meet the growing demand for composite cement in the Eastern region and enhance the company’s blended cement ratio. Following this update, the total domestic grey cement manufacturing capacity of UltraTech has reached 166.31 mtpa, while its total global capacity stands at 171.71 mtpa, including 5.4 mtpa from overseas operations. This capacity addition positions UltraTech favorably to cater to market demands, presenting a positive outlook for growth in the region.
