Welspun Enterprises Limited — New Orders, 05-02-2025: Bagging/Receiving of orders/contracts

Welspun Michigan Engineers Limited (WMEL), a subsidiary of Welspun Enterprises Limited (WEL), has secured a significant Work Order from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of the Mogra Storm Water Pumping Station in Mumbai. The contract, valued at Rs. 290.88 Crore, also includes seven years of Operations & Maintenance. Execution is expected to span 20 months, commencing after receiving necessary statutory approvals.

With this project, WMEL’s order book will increase to approximately Rs. 2,791.76 Crore, excluding GST. This addition underscores WMEL's role in urban infrastructure and flood management, particularly benefiting flood-prone areas such as Oshiwara and Andheri. The achievement is seen as a cornerstone in WMEL's growth and reflects its expertise in stormwater management, having previously executed notable projects under similar initiatives. This contract highlights robust expansion potential and suggests a positive outlook for the company's portfolio.
