Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Limited has received a significant work order from the Dredging Corporation of India (DCIL) for dredging operations in the Navigational Channel, Kandla Creek, Oil Jetties, and Cargo Berths at Deendayal Port, valued at ₹48.46 crore (cr), inclusive of taxes. The contract is for one year, with a possibility for a one-year extension, potentially increasing the total order value to ₹96.91 cr.

This engagement reinforces KMEW’s standing in crucial dredging projects, accounting for 10% of a broader project valued at approximately ₹409 cr. The scope includes capital and maintenance dredging essential for ensuring navigability and efficient cargo operations at the port. Currently, KMEW holds a total order book of ₹1,081 cr, including ongoing projects at Deendayal Port. This latest contract reflects the company’s operational capabilities and strategic focus on expanding its fleet for higher capacity operations.
