Datamatics has secured a contract for the design and implementation of an Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system for 23 stations along Pune Metro Line 3, covering approximately 23 km. This initiative, part of a public-private partnership, aims to modernize urban transit and enhance commuter experiences through a seamless payment integration utilizing the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) standard. The system is designed to improve operational efficiency, reduce fraud risks, and provide real-time traffic and revenue data.
Datamatics, recognized as the only Indian company with a robust AFC solution, has been involved in various global projects, including metro systems in Lucknow, Mumbai, and Kolkata.
