Khaitan (India) Limited has announced a board meeting to discuss its financial results for the quarter and nine months ended 31st December 2024. The company reported a consolidated revenue from operations of ₹1,788.65 crore, reflecting a growth of approximately 30.6% year-over-year from ₹1,371.55 crore. This growth can be attributed to improved performance in the electrical goods segment, which showed significant demand increase, while the agriculture segment contributed as well.

Net profit for the quarter stands at ₹76.69 crore compared to a loss of ₹43.35 crore the same quarter last year, indicating a strong recovery. Earnings Per Share (EPS) has improved to ₹1.61, up from a loss of ₹0.91 last year, pointing towards effective cost management and operational improvements.

Operational costs increased slightly, but total expenses were managed well at ₹1,709.18 crore, primarily driven by a rise in purchases of trading goods. Meanwhile, finance costs reduced marginally, contributing positively to profitability.

On the balance sheet, total assets reflect a healthy position, with segmental revenue mainly driven by the electrical goods sector. The company’s strategic focus appears to be on leveraging growth in this segment while navigating challenges in the sugar division, which remains suspended.

Based on these results, the outlook for the company seems optimistic. There is potential for continued growth in the electrical goods market, and with improved financial health, investors may see this as a favorable entry point—indicating a buy insight for retail investors.
