JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. has announced a board meeting to approve the acquisition of an additional 40% stake in Treel Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd., increasing its holding from 26% to 66%. The acquisition is valued at ₹10 Cr and will create a subsidiary that aligns with JK Tyre's focus on Smart Tyres equipped with Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems. This strategic move is expected to enhance operational synergies and market positioning in the automotive parts sector. Treel, incorporated in 2018, reported a turnover of ₹1,141.36 Lakh for FY 2023-24. Completion of the acquisition is anticipated within 30 days.
