Tata Power reported strong Q3FY25 financial results, achieving a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹1,188 crore, marking a 10% year-over-year growth. The consolidated EBITDA rose 7% to ₹3,481 crore, driven by operational efficiencies across its diverse businesses. Over the first nine months of FY25, the company recorded a PAT of ₹3,909 crore, reflecting a significant 30% increase.
The renewables segment saw a notable 59% PAT growth, resulting in ₹214 crore for Q3, supported by an installed capacity of 6.7 GW and a pipeline targeting over 16.7 GW. The manufacturing unit reported revenues exceeding ₹1,300 crore in the quarter, backed by the full operationalization of its 4 GW solar cell line.
Strategically, Tata Power is expanding its rooftop solar initiative, with a goal of 30 lakh installations by 2030, and has secured several large-scale transmission bids valued at approximately ₹7,100 crore. The company’s diverse operations, including a significant milestone in clean energy projects abroad and advancements in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, signal a positive outlook for sustained growth.
