BCL Industries has entered its 50th year, marking a significant milestone in its journey from a small edible oil producer to a leading grain-based ethanol manufacturer in India. Founded in 1976, the company's expansion into real estate in 2005 and distillery in 2011 has led to robust growth in ethanol production, contributing to reduced fuel import dependency.

Looking forward, BCL plans to enhance its distillery capacity at Bathinda from 400 KLPD to 550 KLPD and establish a new 250 KLPD plant in Haryana, increasing total capacity from 700 KLPD to 1,100 KLPD. These projects will reinforce its leadership in the sector. The company is also focusing on green initiatives, including a 75 KLPD bio-diesel plant and a pioneering 20 MTPD bio-CNG plant, utilizing paddy straw to address stubble burning.
