Ganesha Ecosphere Limited — Important, 03-02-2025: Capacity addition

Ganesha Ecosphere Limited is advancing its capacity expansion plans through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ganesha Eco Pet. The Board of Directors has approved increasing the production capacity from 45,000 tons per annum (TPA) to 67,500 TPA at a new greenfield project in Odisha. Additionally, the existing Warangal plant capacity will be expanded from 42,000 TPA to 64,500 TPA.

The total proposed capacity addition stands at 90,000 TPA, with an estimated investment requirement of ₹700-750 crore, financed through a mix of debt, equity, and internal accruals. The capacity addition is expected to be completed within 18 months. This expansion aligns with the company's business growth strategy, positioning it favorably in the rPET market, signaling potential for increased revenues and enhanced market presence.
