Paytm Cloud Technologies Limited has approved an investment of USD 1 million (INR 8.70 crore) to acquire a 25% stake in Seven Technology LLC, a Delaware-based parent company of Dinie, an embedded finance start-up in Brazil. This strategic move aims to understand and expand into Brazil's digital financial services market, leveraging Dinie's capabilities to support MSMEs. Post-transaction, Seven Technology and Dinie will operate as associate entities, enhancing Paytm's potential for growth in international markets. The acquisition is expected to be completed within 45 days, providing a pathway for operational synergies and market expansion.
