Apple is set to launch its Apple Intelligence in India this April, providing localized English language support, alongside the anticipated iOS 18.4 update. This update is expected to enhance Siri with advanced features, such as on-screen awareness and personal context understanding.
In recent performance highlights, Apple entered the top five smartphone brands by volume sales in India for the first time, capturing an 11% market share in Q4 CY 2024, up from 9% the prior year. The iPhone 15 became the top-selling model, with a 3% share among over 300 models. Apple's remarkable growth in the domestic market, surpassing ₹67,000 crore in revenue for fiscal 2023-24, signals a positive outlook for the brand. This momentum may further bolster investor confidence, particularly among younger consumers who perceive the iPhone as a status symbol.
