Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. reported overall auto sales of 85,432 vehicles in January 2025, marking a 16% increase year-over-year. In the Utility Vehicle segment, they sold 50,659 vehicles domestically, up by 18%. Domestic Commercial Vehicle sales reached 23,917 units. Notably, the company showcased their Electric Origin SUVs at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, with bookings for these models set to open on February 14.

Additionally, the Farm Equipment Sector achieved noteworthy sales, with domestic tractor sales at 26,305 units, growing 15% from January 2024. Total tractor sales, including exports, reached 27,557 units, a 15% increase year-over-year. The boost in tractor demand is attributed to favorable soil moisture conditions and government support for rural initiatives. With exports at 1,252 units for January, a significant growth of 28%, the overall outlook suggests continued strong performance in both segments moving forward.
