Nestle India Limited — Important, 31-01-2025: Capacity addition

A new KitKat production line is being added at Nestlé India’s Sanand Factory in Gujarat, aiming for an approximate capacity increase of 15,000 tons per annum. The investment required for this expansion is around INR 1,100 crore, to be financed through internal accruals. This initiative is part of the company's broader strategy, which includes a total capital expenditure of INR 5,800 crore directed towards greenfield and brownfield projects from 2020 to 2025. This move is significant in enhancing production capabilities to align with future demand, as Nestlé also produces KitKat at its facility in Ponda, Goa.
