Pudumjee Paper Products Ltd reported a strong financial performance for the nine-month period ended December 31, showing a 28% year-on-year increase in Profit Before Tax to ₹10,406 lac, attributed to a sales volume increase of approximately 4,000 MT and an improved EBIDTA margin of 19%, up from 16% in the previous year. Revenue also rose by 7% to ₹61,900 lac, while cash and cash equivalents improved significantly to ₹23,248 lac compared to ₹15,292 lac in the prior year.

The company is advancing its sustainability goals, with a 15.4 MW Solar Power Project underway in Maharashtra aimed at boosting green energy share to 45% of its requirements, slated to operationalize in the middle of the next financial year. Pudumjee is focusing on expanding its production of biodegradable specialty papers for sustainable packaging across various sectors, driven by rising demand. Additionally, it has received consent from Maharashtra Pollution Control Board to establish a specialty paper manufacturing facility in Mahad with a capacity of 68,000 MT per annum, expected over five years. This positions the company favorably for future growth.
