Ramkrishna Forgings Limited — Important, 31-01-2025: Capacity addition

Ramkrishna Forgings Limited has commenced its Cold Forgings facilities in Jharkhand, adding a capacity of 25,000 Tonnes Per Annum (TPA). This expansion increases the company’s total forgings capacity to 2,54,150 TPA. Cold Forgings, which involves shaping metal at room temperature without heat, enhances strength through strain hardening, resulting in superior durability and dimensional accuracy. The cold forging method is particularly effective for creating complex shapes with improved mechanical properties. To fund this project, the company is investing Rs. 125 Crore through a combination of debt and internal accruals, marking a strategic move into the cold forgings market. Investors should watch for the potential growth this new venture may bring.
