Indian Bank reported a robust 35% increase in net profit for Q3 FY25, reaching ₹2,852 crore, up from ₹2,119 crore year-on-year, driven by a significant rise in income and reduced provisions. Operating profit also climbed 16% to ₹4,749 crore on a 10% increase in net interest income to ₹6,415 crore. Provisions decreased by 21.5% to ₹1,059 crore, with fresh slippages falling to ₹1,004 crore. The bank’s asset quality improved, with gross NPAs dropping to 3.26%. This strong performance reinforces a positive outlook for investors, reflecting ongoing robust business operations and management effectiveness.
