Tata Consumer Products has reported a notable 17% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations for the quarter, reaching ₹4,444 Crore, with a 23% growth in the India business. The India Beverages segment grew 10% with volumes up by 7%, while the Foods business experienced a 31% increase, driven by strong sales of value-added salts and the Tata Sampann portfolio. The group’s net profit for the quarter was ₹282 Crore, reflecting a 6% decline impacted by rising interest costs and amortization. The International business also improved, recording an 8% revenue growth. With recent acquisitions, Capital Foods and Organic India are set to contribute significantly, targeting new food service and pharma channels. The company's expanded sales force and focus on channels like e-commerce, which saw a 59% growth, indicate a positive outlook. The expansion of Tata Starbucks, now with 473 stores, further enhances its market presence. Investors should monitor these developments for potential growth opportunities.
