Total revenue from operations for the third quarter of FY 2024-25 reached Rs. 483.52 Cr, reflecting an 18% increase from Rs. 408.48 Cr in the same quarter last year. Net income before tax decreased by 19% to Rs. 102.17 Cr, primarily due to a substantial drop in investment income, which fell by 76% to Rs. 5.51 Cr. Despite this, total income for the nine months period was up 17% at Rs. 1377.11 Cr, with net profit before tax increasing by 10% to Rs. 306.96 Cr.

Operationally, the company's performance remains stable, with a healthy enquiry pipeline and a budgeted full utilization of production capacity for FY 2025. However, the strengthening US dollar poses a risk to margins by increasing the costs of imports. To further capitalize on the solid demand in the transformer market, management's reappointment of Shri Kanubhai S. Patel as Chairman and Managing Director for an additional five-year term is aimed at ensuring strategic direction during this growth phase. Additionally, construction has begun on a new power transformers factory in Vadodara, indicating expansion plans to meet increasing demand. Overall, maintaining a focus on profitable growth amidst competitive pressure will be crucial for the company's outlook.
