PTC Industries has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Odisha to establish an aerospace-grade Titanium Sponge manufacturing facility. This strategic move aims to place PTC and its subsidiary, Aerolloy Technologies, among the few global players with an integrated Titanium value chain, enhancing India's self-reliance in critical materials for aerospace and defense sectors. Currently, India relies heavily on imports for Titanium Sponge, despite having substantial ore reserves.

The facility aligns with India's Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, enhancing the domestic supply chain and positioning India as a competitive hub for advanced materials. With Odisha's supportive industrial ecosystem, PTC anticipates significant advancements in its manufacturing capabilities. This initiative strengthens PTC's commitment to innovation and should create positive momentum in the market as the company works towards a robust domestic supply of aerospace-grade materials, addressing existing supply chain gaps and supporting India's strategic interests in defense and aerospace.
