Usha Martin Limited reported its financial performance for Q3 FY25 and the nine months ending December 2024. Q3 revenues increased by 8.0% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹860.5 crore, driven by a 9.8% growth in the core Wire Rope segment and a 17.6% rise in the Wire & Strand segment. However, operating EBITDA declined by 9.1% YoY to ₹142.7 crore, reflecting operating margin pressures at 16.6%. Profit after tax (PAT) decreased by 14.2% YoY to ₹92.3 crore.
For the nine-month period, revenue rose by 7.6% YoY to ₹2,578.1 crore, with operating EBITDA showing a modest increase of 2.3% YoY to ₹457.5 crore, while PAT fell slightly by 3.9% YoY to ₹305.4 crore. The company emphasizes resilience amid challenging global conditions and has initiated the 'One Usha Martin' transformation strategy to enhance operational efficiency. The outlook remains positive as it leans on integration synergies and a comprehensive product portfolio to meet evolving customer needs while aiming for long-term value creation.
