Blue Star's consolidated revenue for Q3FY25 rose by 25.3% to Rs 2807.36 crore, driven by robust demand in the Room AC segment amidst a strong festive season. The operating profit increased by 35% to Rs 209.38 crore, reflecting improved operational efficiency and strategic investments in distribution and innovation. Notably, profit before exceptional items grew by 24.5% to Rs 167.2 crore, while net profit surged 32% to Rs 132.46 crore.
The Electro-Mechanical Projects and Commercial Air Conditioning Systems segment saw a 32.2% revenue increase to Rs 1562.41 crore, although the demand from commercial real estate remains subdued. Unitary Products revenue rose by 21.9% to Rs 1164.36 crore, fueled by strong Room AC sales, while Professional Electronics and Industrial Systems experienced a decline.
The carried-forward order book hit a record high of Rs 6809.99 crore, and the company maintains a net cash position of Rs 102 crore. Looking ahead, Blue Star is optimistic about sustained growth, driven by seasonal demand and a strong order book, notwithstanding challenges such as rising commodity prices and supply chain risks.
