Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced a board meeting to discuss the financial results.
In Q3 FY 2024-25, the company achieved unprecedented sales, selling a total of 566,213 vehicles, including a record 99,220 units exported. This represents a strong increase from the previous year's total of 501,207 units. The net sales reached INR 368,020 million, marking a significant rise from INR 318,600 million the prior year. Net profit for the quarter climbed to INR 35,250 million, up 12.6% year-over-year from INR 31,300 million.
For the nine-month period ending December 2024, Maruti Suzuki achieved its highest-ever sales volume and financial metrics. Total units sold amounted to 1,629,631, a 5% increase from the same period last year, with domestic sales reaching 1,382,135 units. Net sales for this period were INR 1,062,664 million compared to INR 982,403 million in the previous year. Net profit also rose to INR 102,441 million, an improvement from INR 93,316 million, showcasing a robust growth trajectory in both sales and profitability. A positive outlook exists, given the company’s strong performance and market positioning.
