Ambuja Cements reported a robust performance for Q3 FY’25, with a 17% year-over-year rise in sales volume to 16.5 million tonnes, marking the highest quarterly cement sales for the company. Consolidated revenue from operations increased to ₹9,329 Cr, while profit after tax surged to ₹2,620 Cr, more than doubling compared to the previous year, supported by an EPS of ₹8.59.

Key operational highlights include a reduction in kiln fuel costs by 10%, reflecting efficiency initiatives and strategic sourcing of low-cost materials. The company also expanded its limestone reserves, now totaling 8.3 billion tonnes, and is on track to achieve increased capacities—104 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) by Q4 FY’25 and 118 MTPA by FY’26. Additionally, a significant partnership with Coolbrook aims to position Ambuja as a leader in zero-carbon technology within cement manufacturing.

Ambuja’s focus on sustainability is evident through its commitment to net zero emissions by 2050. The company forecasts a positive demand outlook, capitalizing on increased government spending in infrastructure and housing, suggesting potential growth ahead for investors.
