Rane Engine Valve Limited — Updates, 29-01-2025: Press Release
Rane Engine Valve Limited has announced a board meeting to approve the un-audited financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024. For Q3 FY25, the total revenue was 131.5 Cr, down 3.9% from 136.9 Cr in Q3 FY24. The company reported an EBITDA of 10.7 Cr, a decline of 12.6% year-on-year, with an EBITDA margin of 8.2%, down from 9.0% in the previous year. A net loss of 8.9 Cr was recorded compared to a profit after tax of 3.5 Cr in Q3 FY24, impacted by a one-time tax credit reversal.
For the nine-month performance, total revenue reached 419.4 Cr, slightly up by 0.05% compared to the same period last year. The EBITDA increased by 17.3% to 38.3 Cr, with an improved margin of 9.1% from 7.8% in 9MFY24. However, there was a net loss of 0.7 Cr against a profit of 6.7 Cr in the prior year, again reflecting the tax credit impact. The operating highlights indicate a drop in sales to Indian OE customers by 2%, while the Indian aftermarket sales remained relatively stable with a growth of 1%. Investors should monitor these trends closely, as they reflect both challenges in key markets and potential growth opportunities in the aftermarket segment.
