Bosch Limited — Important, 28-01-2025: Financial Result Updates
Bosch Limited has announced a board meeting to approve the financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024.
In the latest quarter, Bosch reported total revenue of ₹4,466 crores, representing a growth of 6.2% compared to the same period last year. This growth can be attributed to an increase in service income from automotive components, driven by demand from major OEMs.
Net profit for the quarter was ₹458 crores, a slight decrease from the previous year, impacted by operational cost increases and a restructuring provision of ₹47 crores aimed at enhancing competitiveness in the electro-mobility segment. The Earnings Per Share (EPS) stands at ₹155.37.
Operational costs increased due to rises in raw material and employee expenses, reflecting a 1.1% and 4.4% increase respectively. Total expenses for the quarter reached ₹39,901 crores, which includes a significant depreciation cost of ₹1,008 crores.
The balance sheet remains strong, with total assets reported at ₹192,375 crores. Bosch's strategic focus is on realigning its Building Technology business and managing costs to enhance profitability. The outlook remains cautiously optimistic, with ongoing initiatives in technology and service innovation expected to support future growth.
Based on these results, investors may consider a hold strategy as Bosch navigates transitional phases in both the automotive and building technology sectors.
