The Board of Directors of V-Guard Industries Ltd. has approved the un-audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024. Standalone revenue from operations stands at ₹1,185.25 crore, showing a slight decrease compared to ₹1,229.02 crore in the previous quarter. The profit before tax for the quarter is ₹63.98 crore, reflecting a marginal increase from ₹61.68 crore year-on-year. The company reported a profit after tax of ₹48.09 crore, higher than ₹46.62 crore in the corresponding period last year.
In a strategic move, the Board approved the issuance of 47,451 equity shares under the Employee Stock Option Scheme (ESOS 2013). Furthermore, Mr. Kochouseph Chittilappilly has decided to step down as Chairman Emeritus, effective March 31, 2025, to focus on philanthropic activities, although he will continue to guide the next generation of leadership.
Additionally, the company plans capacity expansion for ceiling fans in its Hyderabad facility, with an estimated investment of ₹100 crore. This capacity addition aims to enhance market competitiveness and meet increasing demand in the ceiling fan segment, foreshadowing positive growth prospects for V-Guard.
