28-01-2025 | 01:58 pm

Super Spinning Mills Limited reported consolidated financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024.

Total revenue from operations for the quarter amounted to ₹1.59 crore, marking a year-over-year growth of approximately 7.2%, driven by improvements in the rental services segment amid reduced textile operations. Other income stood at ₹0.002 crore, leading to a total income of ₹1.59 crore for the quarter.

The company recorded a profit before tax of ₹0.49 crore, compared to ₹0.55 crore in the same quarter last year. Net profit from continuing operations was ₹0.36 crore, showing a decline from ₹0.41 crore a year ago, impacted primarily by an increase in finance costs and operational expenses. Earnings Per Share (EPS) for continuing operations was reported at ₹0.07.

Operational costs increased to ₹1.09 crore, a 48% rise year-over-year, reflecting heightened finance costs and employee benefit expenses. This trend underscores ongoing cost management challenges as the company navigates its restructuring post textile operations discontinuation.

The balance sheet appears healthily capitalized with total assets of ₹107.7 crore and total liabilities of ₹36.5 crore, resulting in a slight improvement in net working capital. The outlook suggests a strategic focus on enhancing efficiency within the rental services as management seeks to stabilize earnings in a challenging environment.

Based on these results, consider a hold position, assessing the company's ability to adapt to its new operational focus while managing rising costs and optimizing profitability.
