Larsen & Toubro's renewables division has been designated as a preferred EPC contractor for the north site of the world's first gigascale solar PV and battery storage project, collaborating with Masdar in Abu Dhabi. This ambitious project is expected to produce up to 1 GW of baseload power continuously, featuring a 5.2 GW (DC) solar plant and a 19 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS).
