Infosys Foundation has launched ‘Kala Dhwani: Echoes of India’s Art,’ a folk and tribal art festival dedicated to celebrating India's rich cultural heritage. This event, in partnership with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB), will occur from January 24 to 26, 2025, at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bengaluru, featuring over 800 artists and 60 traditional art forms. The Foundation has allocated more than INR 10 crore to this initiative, which is designed to promote the diverse regional cultures of India through immersive experiences in art, music, dance, literature, food, and textiles. With a focus on preserving and nurturing traditional art forms, this festival provides a platform for community involvement and showcases the artistic legacy of various states. This initiative poses an opportunity for enhanced community engagement and aligns with Infosys Foundation’s commitment to social impact and cultural preservation.
