Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has reported a significant rise in its financial performance for the third quarter of FY25. Standalone revenue from operations reached ₹1,18,936 Cr, slightly higher than ₹1,18,443 Cr in the same quarter last year. The standout figure is the standalone Profit After Tax (PAT), which skyrocketed to ₹3,023 Cr, up 471% year-on-year, driven by improved operational efficiencies in refining and marketing. Average Gross Refining Margin (GRM) stood at US$ 6.01 per barrel.
Operationally, HPCL achieved record crude throughput of 18.53 MMT during the April-December 2024 period, marking a 12.4% increase over the previous year. The company also reported an impressive sales volume of 37.12 MMT, with quarterly records of 12.87 MMT. New product additions and significant capital investments highlight HPCL's ongoing efforts to bolster its infrastructure, with ₹2,892 Cr invested in the latest quarter alone.
