Sales volume at Dalmia Bharat Limited declined 2% YoY to 6.7 million tonnes (MnT) for Q3 FY25, leading to a revenue drop of 11.7% YoY to ₹3,181 crore amid significantly lower cement prices. EBITDA stood at ₹511 crore, reflecting a 34.5% decrease, influenced by the soft price environment despite reduced petcoke costs. On a positive note, the company maintained a low net debt-to-EBITDA ratio of 0.55x and has expanded its clinker capacity through debottlenecking, contributing to a total installed cement capacity of 46.6 MnT.

In sustainability efforts, Dalmia Bharat commissioned a 4 MW captive solar power plant, raising its operational renewable energy (RE) capacity to 252 MW. The company secured 21 MW of new Group Captive RE Power Agreements, enhancing its commitment to sustainability and positioning it favorably in the market. Investors should watch closely as the company navigates the challenges posed by pricing pressures while continuing to focus on strategic expansion and sustainability initiatives.
