TD Power Systems has received a significant order valued at Rs.57 Cr from Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) for the supply of specialized induction motors. These low-speed motors, designed to meet rigorous weight and seismic requirements, will replace high-speed imported motors. The order includes the customization of the motors to fit the existing base frame and coupling requirements at NPCIL’s Kudankulam plant. Delivery, erection, and commissioning are planned for FY 2025-26 and 2026-27. This development highlights TDPS’s technological capabilities and aligns with the Make in India initiative, contributing positively to the company's operational outlook.
