PurFi Global and Arvind Limited have revealed plans for a significant manufacturing facility aimed at supporting H&M Group's sustainability objectives. This state-of-the-art plant in Gujarat is part of a joint venture to address the global textile waste crisis by producing high-quality, rejuvenated fibers. The facility will commence operations with an annual capacity of 5,500 metric tons and an additional 3,500 tons, utilizing PurFi’s proprietary technology to convert textile waste into viable raw materials.

Over the next four years, ten production lines will be activated to meet the increasing demand for sustainable materials from global brands, particularly H&M, which aims to transition to 100% recycled or sustainably sourced materials by 2030. This collaboration not only strengthens Arvind's commitment to innovation and sustainability but also positions both companies at the forefront of the circular economy in the textile industry, presenting a positive outlook for future growth and impact on environmental goals.
