Nazara Technologies has provided an update on its acquisition of equity shares of Moonshine Technology Private Limited (MTPL). The company has successfully acquired 4,37,197 equity shares, representing a total consideration of Rs. 195.90 Crores, paid through the issuance of 20,52,940 equity shares at Rs. 954.27 per share (including a premium). Following this transaction, Nazara's stake in MTPL has increased to 46.07% on a fully diluted basis, maintaining its status as an associate company. The remaining cash consideration, approximately Rs. 15.90 Crores, will be settled as per the terms outlined in the Share Purchase Agreements. This strategic acquisition enhances Nazara's growth prospects in the gaming sector, positioning it for potential growth.
