Swaraj Engines Limited — Important, 17-01-2025: Financial Result Updates
Swaraj Engines Limited has announced a board meeting to review its financial performance for the third quarter and nine-month period ending 31st December 2024.
For Q3 FY25, the company reported a robust performance with total revenue from operations of ₹345.50 crore, marking a significant growth of 23.6% compared to ₹279.55 crore in Q3 FY24. The growth was driven by strong engine demand, reflected in the highest-ever sales volume of 34,415 units during the quarter, up from 27,104 units year-on-year.
Net profit for the quarter was ₹31.95 crore, an impressive increase of 32.6% from ₹24.10 crore in the same period last year, corresponding to an EPS of ₹26.30. The increase in profitability can be attributed to both increased sales and improved operational efficiency, indicated by a growth in operating profit to ₹44.29 crore.
Total expenses rose to ₹306.34 crore, but a successful cost management strategy contributed to a profit before tax of ₹42.82 crore. The margin improvements highlight effective control over operational costs, despite increased overall expenditures.
Over the nine-month period, Swaraj Engines recorded total revenue of ₹1,227.73 crore, up from ₹1,068.28 crore in the previous year, with a net profit of ₹120.56 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 17.4%.
Strategically, the company is well-positioned in the market, having achieved 11 consecutive quarters of growth, suggesting strong demand dynamics. Investor sentiment appears positive based on consistent performance and market share expansion.
Given the financial performance and growth trajectory, a buy stance seems favorable, reflecting potential for continued upward momentum driven by market demand and operational efficiencies.
