Surana Telecom and Power Ltd. has received a Letter of Award for the development of a 54 MW (AC) solar power project from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd, a government undertaking. This project will be executed under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 scheme, aimed at feeder-level solarization as part of the PM-KUSUM scheme.

The significant terms include a tariff of ₹3.09 per kWh with a subsidy of ₹1.05 crore per MW and a requirement for commissioning the project within 18 months.
