Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited — Important, 15-01-2025: General Updates

During the quarter and first nine months of FY25, Antony Waste Handling Cell reported strong operational performance. The collection and transportation (C&T) segment managed approximately 0.49 million tonnes and processed 0.69 million tonnes of municipal solid waste (MSW), culminating in 1.18 million tonnes for the quarter—a 3.2% increase year-over-year, adjusted for completed projects. For the nine-month period, total MSW volume managed reached around 3.56 million tonnes, reflecting a 5.7% year-over-year growth.

The company's Waste-to-Energy facility exhibited exceptional performance with a Plant Load Factor (PLF) of approximately 77% in Q3. Sales included about 38,500 tonnes of Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) and 6,400 tonnes of compost during the quarter, with total sales for nine months reaching approximately 1,03,200 tonnes and 16,600 tonnes, respectively. Core operating revenue for the first nine months rose by approximately 9% year-over-year due to increased domestic MSW generation, higher sales of compost and RDF, and operational efficiencies.
