Allcargo Logistics reported strong operational performance for December 2024, marked by record volumes in key areas.
FCL operations achieved an all-time high of 59,566 TEUs for December, reflecting a 13% year-over-year increase and 14% growth compared to November. For the entire calendar year, FCL volume reached 6,46,090 TEUs, a 9% rise from 2023. Strong growth was observed across South America, India, the USA, Canada, and the Indian Subcontinent, while volumes remained stable in Asia Pacific and Europe.
Air freight volume also surged, totaling 2,864,000 kilos in December, a 42% increase year-over-year. The annual figure reached 30.4 million kilos, up 28% from the previous year, with consistent growth noted across Canada, India, Latin America, and Europe.
LCL operations posted a modest growth of 1% year-on-year, amounting to 735,000 cubic meters in December, and an annual total of 8.9 million cubic meters, marking a 2% increase over 2023. Demand remains robust due to seasonal factors, supporting stable freight rates.
