13-01-2025 | 05:41 pm

Consolidated financial performance shows a total income of ₹2,064.65 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2024. This reflects a notable increase from previous quarters driven mainly by improved revenues from electronic vehicles and renewable energy products, highlighting strong demand and strategic market positioning.

The net profit after tax for the period stands at ₹53.13 crores, a decline compared to the previous year, heavily influenced by increased operational expenses which have risen due to inventory changes and higher employee costs. Earnings Per Share (EPS) is reported at ₹0.01, reflecting the pressure on profitability margins.

Operational costs increased to ₹2,011.52 crores, up from ₹1,977.16 crores year-over-year, indicating heightened budget pressures, primarily from staff and financing costs. Notably, the recent investments are aimed at capacity expansion, which may eventually optimize operational efficiency.

The company’s balance sheet exhibits total assets of ₹31,078.41 crores with liabilities at ₹12,141.81 crores, showcasing a relatively healthy financial position. However, with total receivables amounting to ₹76.88 crores against payables of ₹50.62 crores, cash flow management emerges as a concern, particularly as ₹72.23 crores of receivables are over 180 days old.

Strategically, the firm appears focused on enhancing production capabilities and addressing overdue receivables, which may present short-term challenges but could fortify long-term growth.

Based on current financials and the underlying trends, a cautious approach is warranted, leaning toward a hold stance due to the observed pressure on profit margins and potential risks in cash flow from aged receivables.
