Nephro Care India Limited (NCIL) has inaugurated a state-of-the-art voice-controlled, AI-powered ultrasound system, Logiq Totus, at its flagship clinic in Salt Lake, Kolkata. This advanced system aims to enhance diagnostic accuracy and operator efficiency, providing real-time scan guidance and improving procedural precision. The integration of AI algorithms is set to revolutionize healthcare delivery by aiding in the interpretation of challenging ultrasound images.
Additionally, NCIL is collaborating with the National Institute of Technology, Silchar, to develop a prototype of a remotely monitored AI-enabled Smart Haemodialysis Machine. This initiative promises to reduce the cost of haemodialysis machines significantly, from Rs 7.5-8 lakh to approximately Rs 2 lakh, making treatment more accessible for patients with advanced renal failure.
The company recently inaugurated a 100-bedded multispecialty hospital, Vivacity, in Madhyamgram, West Bengal, furthering its mission to provide comprehensive healthcare solutions across various disciplines, including a state-of-the-art renal transplant unit.
