JSW Neo Energy Limited has successfully completed the acquisition of a renewable energy portfolio from the Hetero Group, incorporating three special purpose vehicles (SPVs) that collectively hold 125 MW of generation capacity. The transaction values the portfolio at approximately ₹630 Crores, excluding net current assets. The acquired assets include wind projects located in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, which come with long-term power purchase agreements and a blended tariff of ₹5.22/KWh, with an average remaining plant life of around 15 years. With this acquisition, JSW Energy’s total locked-in capacity now stands at 24.7 GW, reflecting a diverse mix of fuels and offtakers, underscoring a positive outlook for sustained growth and operational expansion in the renewable sector.
