Waaree Energies Limited — Board Meeting, 10-01-2025: Outcome of Board Meeting

Waaree Energies Ltd. has announced a board meeting outcome, revealing the approval of a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire 100% of Enel Green Power India Private Limited (EGPIPL) for up to ₹792 Cr, subject to customary closing adjustments. EGPIPL, part of one of Europe's largest renewable energy companies, operates solar and wind projects in India, totaling approximately 640 MW AC and 760 MW DC, enhancing Waaree's capabilities and diversifying its revenue streams. EGPIPL will become a subsidiary upon completion of the acquisition, expected within three months.
