Polyplex Corporation Limited — Important, 09-01-2025: Capacity addition

The Board of Directors of Polyplex Corporation Limited has approved the establishment of a new BOPET manufacturing film plant in India. Currently, the company operates at a fully utilized capacity of 90,000 MTPA for both BOPET and BOPP films. The proposed capacity addition is 52,400 MTPA for BOPET film, with an estimated investment of approximately ₹558 Crore (equivalent to $65 million). The expansion is anticipated to be completed in the first half of FY2027-28 and will be financed through a mix of debt and internal accruals.
