KEC International has secured new orders worth Rs. 1,136 crore across multiple sectors. Notable contracts include a 765 kV transmission line project from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector, enhancing the company’s order book as it supports green energy evacuation. In the Transportation segment, KEC has made significant strides with an order for the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) under the ‘Kavach’ initiative. Additionally, the Oil & Gas Pipelines division has gained its first composite order for pipeline design and construction from a major public sector unit in India. With these new contracts, KEC's year-to-date order intake has surged to Rs. 20,600 crore, reflecting an approximate 80% increase compared to the previous year. This growth positions KEC favorably in expanding markets, signaling a positive outlook for future operations.
