In 3QFY2025, Tata Steel India achieved crude steel production of 5.68 million tons, marking an 8% QoQ increase and 6% YoY growth, propelled by the recent commissioning of a new blast furnace at Kalinganagar. The company reported record delivery volumes for the quarter at 5.29 million tons, up 4% QoQ and 8% YoY, driven by robust domestic demand and exports. For 9MFY25, total production reached 16.22 million tons—5% higher than the previous year—and deliveries were 15.34 million tons, also a 4% YoY increase.
Key segments saw significant contributions: Automotive and Special Products deliveries rose by nearly 3% YoY, supported by the launch of new production lines; Branded Products & Retail sales soared almost 20% YoY; and Industrial Products reported steady performance with double-digit growth in value-added segments. Tata Steel Netherlands contributed 1.76 million tons of liquid steel production, evidencing improvement amid favorable market conditions.
