Edelweiss Financial Services Limited has announced a public issue of Secured Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) totaling ₹ 2,000 million, with a base issue size of ₹ 1,000 million and a green shoe option of up to ₹ 1,000 million. The NCDs, with a face value of ₹ 1,000 each, are structured in twelve series with tenures ranging from 24 to 120 months and annual, monthly, and cumulative interest options. The effective annual yield varies between 9.50% and 11.00%.
At least 75% of the funds raised will address existing borrowings, while the remainder will cover general corporate needs. The issue opens today and closes on January 20, 2025. The NCDs carry a CRISIL A+/Negative rating and will be available for trading only in dematerialized form. This initiative reflects a strategic move to manage debt more efficiently and may enhance financial flexibility, presenting a positive outlook for stakeholders.
