National Highways Logistics Management Limited has selected NESCO as the highest bidder for the development, operation, and maintenance of Wayside Amenities in the South Zone along the Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway Corridor (Phase II). The contract involves three sites and is valued at an estimated ₹75 crore for each site, with a total projected annual revenue of ₹350 crore expected from the fourth year of operations. The lease agreement is for 30 years, with an option for a further 30-year extension, and development is to be completed within 10 months. The annual lease rent for the three sites will be approximately ₹16.60 crore, subject to adjustments based on WPI and CPI. This initiative is poised to enhance NESCO's revenue streams and long-term growth potential, marking a significant strategic advancement.
