Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd. has successfully delivered its first driverless, Made-in-India trainset for the Bengaluru Metro's Yellow Line, which spans 18 km and connects the Electronics City hub with the city. This stainless steel automated trainset marks a significant milestone as it is the first passenger rolling stock developed entirely in India. The trainset operates in a fully automated driverless mode (GOA4), showcasing advanced technology that enhances efficiency, sustainability, and passenger safety. Looking ahead, Titagarh plans to deliver two additional trainsets by April and ramp up production to two trains per month by September 2025.
