Afcons Infrastructure has successfully executed a 3.5 km section of the Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This segment is part of a broader 13 km corridor aimed at enhancing regional connectivity in the National Capital Region. The significant work includes the construction of the New Ashok Nagar Station and the installation of six special bow-string steel spans, with a combined length of 360 meters and weighing 2,900 MT. Notably, the spans' erection was completed amid heavy traffic and was characterized by meticulous planning and coordination with NCRTC. Furthermore, Afcons is also involved in executing other packages along the corridor, indicating robust participation in major infrastructure projects. This development underscores Afcons' capacity to handle complex engineering tasks and reinforces its position within the infrastructure sector. Investors should note this positive momentum, reflecting potential growth opportunities as infrastructure development accelerates in the region.
