Gross advances for Suryoday Small Finance Bank reached ₹9,563 crore in Q3 FY25, marking a 26% year-over-year increase and a 2% quarter-over-quarter rise. Disbursements fell 10% from the previous quarter to ₹1,467 crore, reflecting an 18% decline compared to Q3 FY24. Total deposits grew 10% sequentially to ₹9,708 crore, driven primarily by a strong retail deposit increase of 11% QoQ, totaling ₹7,879 crore, alongside a notable 62% rise in bulk deposits. The CASA ratio improved significantly, up 164 bps QoQ to 19.5%, with CASA balances at ₹1,893 crore. Collection efficiency has seen a decline, with overall collection efficiency dropping to 94.8%. However, the GNPA ratio increased to 5.5%, although a substantial portion is covered under the CGFMU scheme, mitigating risks. The focus on inclusive finance is evident, comprising approximately 53% of total gross advances, with a commendable coverage ratio of over 95%. The outlook remains cautiously optimistic, but investors should monitor collection trends and GNPA movements closely.
